Tyson 24hrs old

The first night was not to bad, we got woken up every hour and the Docs start rounding at 4:00 am. Tyson is doing good, yesterdays platelet count was 42,00o and today they are down to 32,000, we were told that they are not going to transfuse until it drops below 20,000. His billy rubin has started to increase so he is under the billy blanket to help out. Not to much luck in the eating department on Tyson's department maybe I need to show him how to do it :) Kellie is up and moving more today, the foley catheter came out this morning and she is not taking as much pain meds as yesterday, she said she is more sore but trying not to take the Percocet as it makes her to tiered to go see Tyson. Our RN today has been the best so far, the one last night was annoying, but it's good to be in good hands with all the medical staff here.
